The trail was still pretty icy in early May this year. It took like a hr and half to hike from Lake Louise to the tea house. The tea house was still covered with like 6 feet of snow. So no hot tea :( The scenery was real nice. Lake Agnes was still completely frozen.

Don't bother with this very busy mediocre tea house. The service is awful, the variety of food is awful, the quality of the food is awful. The only reason it gets two stars is because it takes a long hike to get here and it's the only place to get something to eat or drink before hiking back down. Avoid... More

An easy hike on a well-maintained trail gets you there in about an hour. The teahouse is it's own reward. Pleasant staff, tea and scones accompanied by a pristine setting. Lots of whisky Jacks and ground squirrels begging to share your eats.

Lake Agnes Teahouse will be a lifesaver for many! There's a hike up to it that can be difficult on a warm day! The views are worth it and I loved that there was still snow on the ground in late June when you're up this high! The food was ok! Not the best I've eaten but still impressive for... More

First of all, let me be clear, I am not a tea drinker. With that said, that was the best cup of tea ever. Maybe it was the long walk up the mountain to get there, or maybe it was the amazing views and cozy atmosphere? At any rate, the tea was great and is a must if you make... More

Beautiful vistas from the trail as soon as you are half way through. As the tea house was overfilled we chose a nice spot on the lake shore to have our lunch snacks.

It's tough to imagine a better view, an easy hike up to the tea house. It gets very crowded during peak times.

Cute little tea house at the top of a mountain! It was a nice surprise for myself as I did not research anything on Lake Louise area or hiking before finding this place while out on the trails. (which I don't really recommend haha) I had some hot chocolate -they used the water from the lake- and a delicious apple... More

We have been up to the Lake Agnes Tea House a few times over the last few years. It is a wonderful day hike destination. Worth the steep hike. The views are beautiful and the tea and sandwiches are very good. We have found it very busy the last couple of years so get there early.

just what you expect from a tea shop at the top of the mountain... authentic, rustic and in keeping with nature offering a good selection of home made foods.

Description
"Its a seasonal teahouse (like the Plane of 6 glaciers teahouse, which is listed on TripAdvisor), located on Lake Agnes in the Lake Louise area. A 2.5 mile hike brings you to this amazing little historic hut, perched on the rim of a cliff and looking over a lake to The Beehive and mountains beyond. So incredible to stumble across. Whats wonderful is that they have over 100 kinds of teas, good sandwiches and soups, and quite a selection of baked goods (gluten-free included!)".
