We arrived at this isolated spot - the only place we could see on the map for food - the same time as a couple of tour buses arrived. As well as being crowded, the food was poor and pricey. The review by Marion B below is bang on.

With not many places to stop in this area, we opted to try this place as a last resort. A try in the pub with a proper menu, they were not yet serving food at 4:00 pm, so we settled for the self serve restaurant. Two pulled pork sandwiches and a coffee each came to a bill of close to... More

I have stayed at the Crossing Resort many times and have always been impressed by the location. Located just south of the Columbia Icefields this is the perfect rest stop between Lake Louise and Jasper. The cool thing about the Crossing is it is off the grid with power being generated on premise. There is a bar/restaurant, gift shop, restaurant,... More

We didn't try the meals here - but stopped for a bathroom visit and an ice-cream to keep us going between meals. Looked an interesting place but we didn't hang around

We were tired and hungry by the time we got to Saskatchewan Crossing, and this resort is the only option around for miles for food. We started at the Parkway Pub where we shocked to find out that you have to grill your own burger or steak; we were tired and not in the mood to fuss with this. We... More

Wayyy to expensive, busy place as there is not much else in the area, but plan ahead and don't stop. Super expensive, not very friendly service.

Awful food, awful coffee, awful service - my advice - don't go there! Plan your journey ahead and take food with you!

We stopped here on our journeys, both north and south, along the Ice Fields Parkway and found it to be quite reasonable. We had excellent bowls of soup, plus coffees. Of course the price is high, what else do you expected in such an isolated place? Just be grateful that there is somewhere in this wilderness that is welcoming to... More

The people who run this place must know that they are the only show for miles around. We stopped after driving from Red Deer and were keen for lunch. The only option beyond the tremendously overpriced fast food was some fairly tasty chili at $9 a bowl at the chili/soup bar. There was also veggie chili and soup at the... More
