Beware that waiters try to get you to give an extra 15% tip over and above the 15% automatically included in the bill

We stayed here one night only to do a glacier hike. The hike was wonderful. The restaurant not so, the Chinese food was rubbish, so bad that I sent mine back. My replacement was a chicken Caesar salad which had a sizeable amount of brown lettuce in it. Service charge is added automatically to the bill. Service was good. The... More

The hotel is nice, and pretty basic. However, given its location and remoteness, they keep it in pretty good shape. Don't expect that gorgeously lit building they show on the website. That's way too romantic. The reality is it is a stone building in the middle of a parking lot, perched on a hillside that faces the Athabasca Glacier. The... More

Located right AT the Columbia Icefield centre is your hotel. You can't miss it! Google this place before you come here so you know you're in the right place and don't end up driving towards the other side of Jasper to find your hotel! (That's obviously not what we did....) We ended up checking in at 1am. The place is... More

If you stay overnight at the Glacier inn then this is the only place to eat. Decent food for the fact that its in the middle of an isolated place

This Inn has great rooms, 2 double beds, pull out couch and 2 twin beds in the loft. Very comfy and roomy. We had a bit of trouble finding the door to check in, the Inn also serves as a meeting place for glacier tours and has lots of buses and people during the day. But early morning and late... More

Worth going just for the view! You get an amazing view overlooking the glacier as you eat. The food was tasty but a little overpriced - which you expect being in the middle of nowhere. Theres is quite a large menu to chose from. The only negative was the staff seemed very concerned with getting a good tip and interrupted... More

Pros: Dinner at the restaurant was tasted good and the waiter was very nice. View from the windows of the restaurant was of the icefields, which was great. Cons: The price was SO high. The sweet and sour chicken was a little chewy.

Stayed here two nights and had a decent stay. Glacier view rooms have a smallish window on the front side of the building looks out at the glacier (hence the name). Window is smallish but with that view we pulled the chairs and small table over and couldn't stop looking. Room was nothing special and there was no a/c but... More

OK, it was written...but how can be possible in 2014 not to have the wi-fi? The room was spacious but when we arrived there were no towels...the bathroom was not cleaned and there were hair of the former clients, the beds were done in a terrible way, the price was very expensive compare to the service that was absolutely poor...
