Good place to eat fish (at least, it is out of highs season), with selections of raw shellfish and seafood, patsa with seafood, frittura mista, etc. As well as the restaurant, it also has a less formal frigitteria/takeway as well.
We came here for lunch during a weekday and ordered plenty of seafood - sea urchins, cockles and mussels, shrimps and more...super fresh from the sea! Then we ordered a fish soup that was delicious and drank a bottle of wine for two...for a total...of 90€ per two people, but the seafood was all first quality, definitely worth it!More
Food is average, but the risotto was the worst I had in my life... and I am Italian coming from a seaside town... it was just boiled rice, wet and the fish tasted of nothing. I think this is a good trap for tourist.
I've been eating in this place since they took over the previous owner and I organised several events here. Always satisfied.
August 2016 I had guests and while the risotto was perfect the appetisers were disappointing for quantity and quality.
They downgraded from top value-for-money...with high quality and location to average position.
It must be said that in the peak season most of the restaurants of the area serve the same quality but I'd rather spend 10% more to get a decent dinner.
Service is aligned with expectations for the restaurant of the same class (though the back of my chair was sticky).More
Amazing fresh sea food !!! Delicious
We ate there twice and each time were amazed at the freshness
Very correct and fair prices
The place may not be inviting from the outside but don't let it scare you away from such a gem!
Dining RIGHT on the sea, in a spacious tented pergola. The owner was extremely attentive and proud of everything they serve here which of course, features all the local fresh caught fish and seafood. The decor is sweet and "country clean" white and blue mixed...together with comfortable chairs and decent tables. My standout dish was simply:
TUNA! fresh local caught tuna, in big CHUNKS on radicchio. A tiny tad of olive oil that was it! We ordered other good things which were perfectly and simply prepared but this was wonderful. The fish was soft, with a touch of the sea and perfectly cooked served room temp. House wine was fine. Happy campers! Probably mobbed in full season.More
