I took my Mother there for lunch after a week along the beach. I had the chicken salad and she had the smoked fish cakes. Generous portions, lovely warm freshly cooked bread. Reasonably priced and friendly good service.

Came to the cafe for lunch with friends and 2 sets of children. Gathered this place wasn't child friendly from the look on the staff members faces. At that point probably should have gone elsewhere.. Food arrived.. oh dear. Battered fish was obviously pre frozen and tasted it. Sausages in the cheap white baguettes had hardly seen any sort of... More

Popped in at 2pm and was told I couldn't sit inside as the tables were already prepared for dinner. The owner was quite insistent. How ridiculous

The quality and choice at this quality Restaurant is amazing against its external appearance as a small beach Cafe. A quiet location , at least when we went there and lovely views across the Solent.

Stopped by on a circular walk from St Helens to Nettlestone and back. A lovely sit on the seafront with ice cream and a drink. We definitely recommend this marvellous place with its great view and friendly atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back for lunch one day as the food looks delicious!!😛

Don't come to this family cafe with your young family - they have no highchairs! Surely the only cafe in the island that doesn't have any. But they do have a children's menu - go figure! We had two crab sandwiches which looked much nicer than another reviewers pictures, but still served on cheap bread. Another table near us said... More

Stopped for a spot of lunch after visiting St Helens seafront and was not disappointed. Had the local crab baguette which was very nice served with a side of salad and crisps. Wife had a prawn cocktail again was very nicely presented. Would definitely revisit.

Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting we ordered prawn and apparently advocado sandwich and a crab sandwich they came on cheap hard edge white bread, and a portion of chips were £3 and rotten here is a picture of the crab sandwich by he way this lunch with 2 cokes was £20 the 2 males who served us were lacking big time...
