We ended up in this place after a Sunday afternoon concert in a church nearby. It was a bit early for dinner, but we were welcomed by the staff and were shown to a nice table. Starters and drinks were good, and so were the main dishes that we had (salmon, fish of the day and risotto). My tub gurnard... More

Popped into Zi Zi primarily to get out of the rain. But we were delighted with the food and the service. My fish with potatoes, carrots and aioli was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a good ambience with comfortable seats and attractive décor. The toilets are spotless. Service was efficient and charming.

This is a very nice looking restaurant that unfortunately it didn't live up to the expectations. The restaurant was nowhere near full, but the service was slow, disorganised and at times very un attentive. 1 hour between starter and main course is not acceptable for a group of 8. Second while the food seems to be OK, I was very... More

The sun was wonderful on the patio, and the service was excellent. At the bar, the staff was friendly and the bar food was 'OK'. Back again for dinner, the food was very good, and again, the staff was very friendly, outgoing and observant.

We found the service to be fine although the beers were not very cold. Food was over elaborate for the actual standard of the cooking. Presentation seemed to be more important than taste although I did enjoy the sweet potato soup. Perhaps it was just the wrong choice for us that evening.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. Great service, friendly people. There are not too many options in the menu but the food is good. Good selection of wines plus the option of hte week.

Come and visit the original Brooklyn: Breukelen, in the Netherlands. While you're there, stop by ZIZI a bistro cafe type place with no frills food, drinks, no feeling of being rushed by staff. This place is in the city center, the place to be anyway while you are in Breukelen! You can sit and eat here for hours, be it... More

Nice restaurant in the town Breukelen. Casual and relaxing atmosphere. Down to earth Dutch food. Very good and friendly service. Good price versus quality.

The restaurant has a beautiful terrace, nice waiters and in general a quick service. Toilets are always clean and they change menus every three months. The menu itself is of very high quality: everything fresh and almost everything home-made (even mayonnaise). Take your time eating, only counterpoint is that it can be quite pricey if you have a three-course meal... More

I was a repeat customer for more than a year. Great service, great food! There were often changes in the menu which made it nice to go back so often.
