TL;DR What was I thinking? Don't get steak at a place famous for the pizza. I ordered a rare steak using words in Spanish and English which our server recited and then my SO confirmed the Spanish word was the correct word. Three people all saying "rare" in two different languages for a total of four instances of "rare" happening... More
First at all, Gardner, thank you for your time to visit and review our restaurant. I remember you and the problem with you order. Speaking with the witress she told me there's a comunication problem with point of cooking, usually we don't make "rare" meat because it's not easy to do well if you don't have a great consumption of... Having spent almost a month in Barra we realized we missed pizza! And Loco Loco is a great solution! Thin! Tasty! Fresh! Variety of pizzas! And if you want to creat your ideal pizza, you can always ask to add the ingredients wanted! The only thing that we faced is that once having come at 8 p.m.we were told they... More
Many people rave about the pizza here. We've been to this restaurant once... and had their Veggie Pizza. I'd have to say it was 'average'. It was very busy the night we were there and waited a very long time to receive our meal. Often there is music. Staff was very friendly - nice atmosphere.
We went as a group of four to Loco Loco and got a nice table inside under a fan. The restaurant was very busy but the waitress was working hard and very attentive to every table. We started with Greek salad, good and big enough to feed us all. We got three pizza's, (#9) a bacon and mushroom, (#15) a... More
Spent the week in Barra de Navidad enjoying local eateries. Loco Loco was by far and away the best meal we have eaten! The pizza, pasta and salad were all superb. We began the meal with Greek salads which were very large and easily shareable. We ordered a combo pizza and a Margarita pizza to share. I wanted to try... More
We had very pleasant meal at Loco Loco - the pizza was delicious and served hot out of brick oven. Service friendly and attentive. Restaurant a little hard to find but well worth it. It is across the street and down a bit from ATM in Barra.
Sometimes you need a break from the regional food, no matter where you are or how good it is. For those times, pizza is the universal food that binds humanity together with coils of culinary harmony. Good pizza joints can be found all over the world and this place is one of the international sisterhood. Nothing earthshaking, just good pizza.
Great service!! Great price!! Great food!! We had just come back from a side trip to Guadalajara and needed some food. This was the place to go.
