Make sure you try their baked codfish. It's so good it almost crosses into fine dining territory. Impeccably done and without a doubt the best thing I ate throughout my entire one month in Europe. Nice touch of wooden firework during winter too... a great place to warm up after a long day out in the cold. I have since... More

Beautiful rustic fishing village interior. Our server Jan Brevik was one of the most sincere and accommodating individuals we have met on our trip to Norway. He helped us learn part of the Norwegian alphabet and pronounce the names of towns we have been through. This was the icing on the cake to out trip in the islands. We will... More

We wanted to eat some local recipes and this place met our expectations. I wanted to taste the steak of whale and it was a good surprise, well cooked and dressed. The atmosphere is really nice with wood walls, tables and chairs. The service was also very friendly. To recommend if you want to be a Norwegian just for one... More

Excellent place for lunch or dinner with traditional food, especially seafood. Reine is a very beautiful place and the view is fantastic. The service was nice. The place is more authentic than many other places we visited in Lofoten.

I think this is the only restaurant in Reine (other than fast food of tea/coffee places). They serve breakfast and then they are open at 5pm for dinner. They serve local fish (catch of the day). I had halibut (was great) and other person had cod (it was ok). Other people took beef and they said it was very good.... More

No complains at all about the food, but maybe we were just unlucky with the service that day. We had to wait around 40min after ordering for the dishes to come. After we were finished, we had to wait another 30min in hope to get the dessert that in the end didn't come at all. Thus, we left "dessert-less"

We had breakfast and dinner here both days of our stay. The breakfast is a typical Norwegian breakfast buffet with great freshly baked bread and all the usual stuff to go with it. At night, the restaurant fills up quickly and a reservation is recommended although the added loft takes most of the traffic. The fish soup is lovely and... More

Had a dinner here in June 2016 and it was very nice! Fish soup and baked daily fish catch, as well as biff and whale stake were great! Cozy atmosphere, nice service! Homemade bread! Since the place only have around 10 tables, book in advance.

We only had lunch here but that was delicious. Excellent fish soup and a superb smoked salmon open sandwich. Simple but well done - the art of good food. Prices are on a par with most good restaurants in Norway. Be warned!
