We were a large group so we decided to order a bit of everything and we loved everything. They have sopes, tacos, moles from Puebla and Oaxaca and delicious margaritas and ice cold beers which are great after a day of walking around. If you are not really into mexican food they also offer a great meat. It is expensive... More

I was a little worried that this place might be touristy because of it's location near the central square, but the food was excellent. not the best mole I've ever had, but it wasn't awful either. Very good service and prices reasonable.

Saturday afternoon about 2...a short wait as we had no reservations. This is a splendid place! Strictly "white linen" standards. I cannot recall having better service anywhere! If you're concerned about too much spice they'll happily provide a taste before you order. Be sure you save room for desserts! And yes, I'll make reservations for the next visit: tomorrow!

A short walk from La Quinta Real, the hotel we were staying at, its this beautiful restaurant that offers the authentic Mexican charm. The place was busy so we had to wait for about 15 minutes, while waiting the host offered us a complementary cold beer and fruit drink that my wife loved. Once seated we were offered some amazing... This is one of the traditional restaurants in Puebla, it is a good option for traditional cuisine. The mole tasting platter is good and the Tacos Orientales explain the origin of the Tacos de Pastor brought by Syrian Immigrants in the early 1900´s

We don't go for the more expensive restaurants normally but seeing as it was the last day of the trip we thought we would take the plunge. We were presently surprised by the quality of the food. Yes it was a bit more than usual on the wallet, but the service was absolute quality. Even the manager at one point... More

You can come blindfolded and pick whatever you find on the menu. It´ll all be good and with the best quality ingredients from the region. Let´s talk about Slow Food seriously

We saw the reviews and some other people eating, so thought we'd give it a try. I think there must be better dishes but I asked for "enchiladas" and to be honest it was so unlike what I expected. I ordered also the "chanclas" and they were SO greasy.
