Great place with typical and authentic Mexican food! Additionally the coffee was excellent and I had an interesting conversation with the owner. Highly recommended!
Hospitality, delicious mexican cuisine, nice interier. Highly recommend to visit this place. Muchas gracias Jesus por todo.
Food was delicious! Don Jesus was a gracious host and his abuelitas recipes were wonderful! We will certainly return!!
We have been traveling around Mexico for the last 6 months and today had one of the very best Mexican meals and one of the best experiences thanks to Jesus at Ricon tipico. This was authentic-food, with a great home town feel. We couldn’t have...been happier. You owe it to yourself.More
This is absolutely the best restaurant experience in Zacatecas. The food, the service, atmosphere...
Here in Rincón Típico you can enjoy being surrounded by images of the world, Mexican colors and an impeccable Host with a great attitude, a melodious voice and a seasoning that reminds you of your home if you are Mexican and if you are a...foreign you will want Mexico to be your new home and family.More
Had a wonderful dinner and came back for breakfast. The server was very accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. Not anything fancy which is exactly what we were looking for. Just authentic, home cooked meals.
Hidden cuisine paradise. Food is completely authentic and the service is amazing. The menu isn’t always the same but the best way to describe it is... like coming back to your grandmas house and finding out she had all of your favorite meals ready. I...love it!!!More
A Very good restaurant in Zacatecas center, the decoration, food, service, was exelent , and the host (owner) Mr Jesus Juarez barraza, mekes you feel like your at home. It was something special; when in Zacatecas stop by, you wil love this family restaurant.
The set meal is the soup of the day and a main course you pick from a few choices. There's no menu. I had a big bottle of sparkling water with the meal. There was plenty of food, including the puffy tortilla chips that I've...gotten to like around here. The service was fast (though it wasn't busy at 2:30pm on a Saturday). Total: 95 pesos. Deal!More
Loved the birria and the horchata also the lime dessert was very good. Good food and good prices. Definitely a good find!
Fair enough, the owner is charming and convivial. But that is where the positives start and end: the ingredients are cheap; the tastes poor; and the layout terrible. Sure, if you want a quirky experience come here, but if you wish to taste good authentic...Mexican food, go elsewhere, even a street vendor. I reckon most of the other positive reviews are 'influenced' as no one could surely rate this place considering all the decent restaurants nearby.More
If this is the number one ranked restaurant in Zacatecas I pity Zacatecans. It is as it is mentioned a bad fonda. The decor is crowded and dirty. The food was not bad but there are better and cheaper fondas. I scored it a two...because the owner is really trying and friendly. I did not have the heart for a one which was more on point.More
The owner is very friendly and help you to feel comfortable, the food is like the more Mexican made in home food. The price is cheaper if you compare with another restaurants in Zacatecas.
