Located right in the heart of the city. The fresh organic juices, coffees, and deserts alone are reason enough to stop on in. The portions and presentation of the plates were great. Get a window seat so you can enjoy watching the views outside.

On my first day in Zacatecas, it was recommended that I eat at the Acropolis. However after receiving poor, slow service I finally received a breakfast that was cold. Cold eggs, pancakes and bacon are not that much fun first thing in the morning. Its a busy place, but that should not excuse the fact that the meal was awful !... More

This is the best restaurant in Zacatecas. It is nice with good prices, and the food is great. Also it is located in the main center of Zacatecas.

I like this place! It is like stepping into the past. But everything works and looks good! The food is good, there is Mexican food, and sandwiches in case you feel like having something else. The "asado de boda", "torta de pierna" were excellent! They also have nice coffee and cakes.

Went on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. Yes it is a landmark, but seems a bit frozen in time as is the wait staff. I did not feel very welcome. The menu looked uninteresting since I am not into pastries or sweets. The beer was 40 pesos which seemed high. I had herb tea - a tea bag -... More

Every city has its "go to" restaurant for breakfast, and many rarely match or exceed expectations. Zacatecas has the Acropolis Cafe and it matches expectations. The Acropolis is located right across the street from the Cathedral. It is decorated with beautiful artwork from renowned Mexican artists, many of them from Zacatecas. The place as one might expect, is packed... The... More

We came to Zacatecas and enjoyed our breakfast here in the Acropolis. Very convenient location in the down town. If you are likely to taste mexican food ask for the huevos rancheros or the Asado de Boda a very traditional dish.
