There were six of us, we ordered six drinks and six meals. One drink got forgotten, then they brought three meals, after a while they brought a fourth one with apology that they forgot to make it, to which we responded that we ordered six...meals. Five minutes later, a not very pleasant lady which served our table asked us what was forgotten and took the order. After that we saw the same meals that were forgotten meals served at other tables before they brought it to us. Also we got one extra beer we did not order. While paying they charged us twice for a soup they didn’t bring from the first order. No one appologized for the mess, we were not offered any discount or other reimbursement. Our meals were hour late. The place seems nice but the service was very unprofessional.More

We were there on ST. Martins Day for the menu and every single course was amazing, just the wine pairing didn`t match for my opinion but that wasn`t important for me.

A bit grumpy chef, but very welcoming waiters. Excellent soup and burger for cheap price. Non alcoholic beer on a tap!

I‘ve never been sent away this unfriendly from a place after driving a long way to get there. After asking for a beer the only words said were ‚closed closed this is a private party‘

The Svatobor is an unpretentious high quality bar / restaurant run by Tomáš Hána. Tomáš has travelled the world gaining experience and has brought it to an interesting old building on the top of a small mountain next to Sušice. The menu is short and...varied with something for everyone, and varies from sharing snacks to innovative high quality dishes. This time we had the spicy chicken and vegetable tortilla and the pork loin in a red wine sauce with great roasted veg. Tomáš introduced us to a Neronet wine from Moravia which was fantastic. I have never heard of the Neronet grape, but I will certainly look out for it from now on.More

Vyborne jidlo a mila obsluha. Nelze nez doporucit. Ochutnal jsem bulharskou studenou polevku tarator a krkovicku s ratatouille a bramborem a oboji vyborne. Souhlasim s predchozi recenzi - rozhledna fajn, ale jidlo super! Great meal and nice personnel and I can really recommend this restaurant....I've tasted a tarator and a pork neck with ratatouille and potatoes and both dishes were great. I agree with the previous review - the view tower is nice but the dish is great there.More

After a climb up the Svatobor view-tower we wanted something to charge up. I chose cream of celeriak and curry. Score! 1:0 for chef. There was no way we'd leave without trying more. We have moved inside and ordered few more soups between us (...group of 8). Then i went for Lamb with cous-cous and grilled vegetables :) 2:0 Well finished with Warm plum pie w. poppy-seed ice-cream.. 3:0 :) Got beaten up by amazing food and nice atmosphere. And the view from the tower? Don't really remember.. Great day trip!More

We eat in this restaurant periodically. You would not expect such great food in this "Cottage" with rooms above the restaurant. This food compares to the food in high class restaurants. Love it. Ivona Dungan, Czech Republic
