Stopped by for a bite to eat, had chowder and fish and chips. Both were cooked really well and very tasty. Sat outside to take in the beautiful view. Def recommend and I will be back

Outstanding food: crab claws big, sweet, juicy, flavourful; excellent baked cod; best mussels ever (if an embarrassing amount that could not be finished). Mussels were the sweetest, plumpest ever tasted in a creamy sauce. The Seaview has done well to adapt to Covid requirements with...well-distanced tables. If I had one ask, it would be to reduce the lighting: it all felt a bit open and the opposite of intimate. But a minor issue - a great restaurant with helpful, friendly staff and outstanding food.More

The menu has plenty to offer (for meat and fish eaters, I don't remember the vegetarian/vegan options). There is a nice ambience, if you can, ask for a table by the window. Service is friendly and efficient.

A quick phone call to book and a short 10 minute drive and were at the Seaviw Tavern. Warmly greated by staff and seated with a window view. Food was ordered and arrived very quickly. The presentation of the meal was superb and how I...had envsaged it to look. We all do it. We visualise what it will look like and get disappointed when it doesn't match your expectations. Not here at Seaview Tavern. They were spot on. Thourougly enjoyed the starter, main meal and bowled over by the chocolate cake. If you visit Malin Head, be sure to visit this place for a lovely relaxing meal.More

Stayed here the night before going from Malin to Mizen by car. The room was spacious and clean. I had an early check-out so I couldn't rate the breakfast but the staff offered fruit to be dropped up to the room if I wanted anything...before I left. No hassle at check-in or check-out. Ate in the restaurant on site but it was during Covid-19 so I am guessing service is very different than normal. Staff were pleasant and funny. Food was good and there were no complaints from our group of 4. Felt like the social distance was working and well planned out. There is also a bar on-site and a shop conveniently next door.More

We drove to the Seaview Tavern for a late lunch, having read about it in Trip Advisor! The Malin Head area is beautiful and it was a fantastic day which made the experience even nicer! The first thing I would say is that in these...strange times, it felt safe to dine here with availability of hand cleaning products at the door and well spaced tables with dividers where necessary. The view from our window seat was just lovely. We decided to share a seafood platter with an extra if fries, and a bowl of Donegal mussels - oh my goodness 😁 it was amazing! The portions were generous and the seafood was so fresh and tasty, and we were totally impressed. I also noticed that other customers meals looked equally good - fish and chips next time for me! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and seem to smile a lot which is a good sign. I would definitely recommend this place And can’t wait to have a chance to return.More

We stopped at the Seaview Tavern for some lunch when we were driving the northern part of the Wild Atlantic Way. We really enjoyed our food. The portions were very generous and the food itself was lovely. Staff also was very friendly despite the fact...that it was rather busy. A nice bonus was the amazing seaview during lunch. When visiting Malin Head, it's certainly recommended to stop here for a bite.More

We went in with pretty medium expectations and we were suprised. We were a party of 6. I got crab as a starter and it was amazing. I then got sirloin steak and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. All of...the crab , steak, chips , salad etc is fresh. AND I MEAN FRESH. Everything was perfectly cooked , perfectly seasoned and made. Each one of us got 2 dishes and a side. It was so fast considering how busy it was. I would hundred percent drive for 3 hours just to go here. We came for a holiday and this was the best restaurant we went to. Would highly recommend. Also the view is amazing.More
