A spectacular view of Malin Head and the coastline makes this a great place for lunch or dinner. One of the best sea-food restaurants in Donegal, without all the stiffness or pretensions of some more expensive places.

We shared a lovely even oh here with two close friends. We booked in advance as it was Saturday night (albeit in February) and arrived at a gorgeous we spot which truly has a sea view. The food was marvellous (fresh fish focused) and reasonably priced. The service was lovely and we were neither rushed nor neglected. All in al... More

A popular family restaurant right by the shore. Good service, excellent food and very reasonable prices. We would definitely visit again when in the area

My partner and I visited for a night and had an absolutely excellent experience. The two meals we had were excellent, I suggest trying the crab toes or the crumbed Brie from the starter menu. Very friendly pub, great place for a pint. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities in the room. My partner is a coeliac and they were great... More

A really yummy 😋 lunch was had by both of us. The soup was hot and tasty ( just what we needed on such a blustery day) and the sarnies were well filled with proper ham and cheese, no processed stuff! Tea ☕ was plentiful and the desserts were delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming, a very relaxed atmosphere.

We felt so lucky to experience the Sea view tavern when we had just accidentally ended up here. We were driving across Northern Ireland for the week and chose the sea view tavern late in a dark November evening for its proximity to Malins head. We were shown our room on arrival. A lovely big, immaculate and warm room overhead.... More

As we where staying just round the corner, we couldn't really avoid having a meal in the excellent Seaview Tavern. We were a party of 5 so were able to sample quite a few of their dishes, including mussels (very nice), crab mornay which was the dish of the day, the crab bisque, their local steak burger and all were... We ate here on our visit to Malin Head. I had cod and chips with mushy peas. My husband had the burger and chips. The portion of chips was huge! We were unable to eat all of it! The tartar sauce was outstanding! Best we'd had! We also took home their cheesecake of the day to share which was mint... More

Spent a lovely evening here watching the sea as the sun went down after a sunny day in Malin Head. This is a delightful place. Stayed overnight in a large room above the tavern. Great views. Food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the sea food platter and the steak. Great breakfast also. Staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and... More

When you pay a budget price for accommodation, that's what you expect. Not at the Seaview Tavern! Rooms are huge and clean. Room 3 has a double and a single bed with spectacular views over the harbour and the Atlantic Ocean - even spotted a few frolicking dolphins from the window! The restaurant is clean, warm and again enjoys stunning... More
