We had been on a trip with Eileen Glas run tours, Kenny recommended here for coffee and cake. Wow, this place is a little gem Had the Island Paradise and took some lemon tarts home for tea. Paradise, it was, full of fruit, so light...with a creamy top. Just stunning The lemon tart pastry was beautiful and crunchy with a sharp lemon tart. All this done from the big shed - it is a must if you are on Scalpay and so reasonably pricedMore

We were on a boat trip on Scalpay and looking for a tasty wee bite after. Kenny, the skipper, recommended this little place up the road. We both had a hot drink but the traybakes that we chose were delicious, a millionaires shortbread and a...Malteser one. Imagine my delight when, on the day we were leaving, we found that the newspaper shop in Tarbert stocked Island Dainties goodies. So we just had to bring some home to Edinburgh with us. Found it hard to choose, and ended up picking Lemon coconut squares. We still have them to enjoyMore

Very nice home baking. Nice coffee/hot chocolate. Had gone over to scalpay marina. It was quite close to the marina only about 5min walk. The owner was very nice, friendly and accommodating!
