Thatched cottage like cafe and bar right next to the beach. Food reasonably priced and tasty and catered for gluten free. Dog friendly.

Having caught our mackerel at Beer, we were going to grab a crab sandwich further along the coast at the Sea Shanty Cafe on Branscombe Beach. We had been there before, but nevertheless, threading our car through the narrow lanes was something of an act...More

The beach is pebble but a nice are to sit our and eat. Food okay but the issue was the many wasps after jam and anything else. Needs to be addressed with traps really. Friendly area - usual single track road to get to it.
