Food excellent, fresh and fulll of taste and energy
Ambience - you play a part in it
A really worth-while place to visit - and I am looking forward to my next stop over when visiting this beautiful area
I visited Hollywood Cafe on Saturday September 5th 2020 for lunch with a friend. Colin precautions were taken..indoor tables have a perspex sheet attached to isolate them from others and some tables have been removed to allow for social distancing.
I ordered chicken wings as...a main course with no starter as I wanted to have apple pie for dessert. Service was a little slow as the number of chefs allowed in the kitchen is restricted to comply with social distancing rules but that said was well worth the wait. For a cafe of its size, the food was excellent.
All of that aside, the staff deserve a special mention. Our waitress was very professional, good-humoured, pleasant and helpful and did everything to make sure that we enjoyed our visit.
We will certainly return very soon.More
Coffee good, Food average, pricey for what you get but found the food filling. The cafe itself is cute and charming and worth a visit if passing by to stop for a coffee.
The Blonde woman that I can only assume is the Manager/Owner is...extremely rude to the waitresses, very snappy and bossy.. very noticeable from the customers view and not a good look. I left feeling sad for the waitresses having to work in that environment as they where so pleasant.More
This gorgeous cafe is set in a refurbished country farm cottage in the picturesque village of Hollywood, Wicklow. They do an all day breakfast and a typical cafe menu.
We found the food tasty and fresh with that lovely homemade touch.
Not only is there...the cafe but this rest stop has fab outdoor seating front and back along with art for sale and a small garden centre with a florists.
Such a nice spot to visit if touring the Wicklow mountainsMore
This is my fourth time visiting the cafe.
Staff are lovely, polite and helpful.
Food is good but wish the menu was bigger or had at least one other vegan option.
They sell coffee beans and odd bits and pieces and the cafe itself is...adorable and has a lovely atmosphere.
Also they have loads of outdoor seating, have bicycle parking and allow dogs in the outdoor seating areas!
Will continue to visit whenever I can, especially with my dog as there is far too few places in Wicklow that has outdoor seating. 😊More
