Shop - nice products but less well stocked than we expected it to be. Disappointed with range of products on offer. Coffee shop - nice coffee and tray bakes but over-priced. Unwelcoming and made to feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.

It is always a pleasure to have an excuse to visit ANTA. The baking and the soups are always full of l flavour, and you get a warm Highland welcome whenever you go. We will he back.

Lovely soup and scones. Pleasant server. The stock was extremely expensive and the tweed certainly not the finest quality. The crockery was thick and the patterns were similar to those in many other outlets.......and outrageously pricy. Would return for the soup but nothing else.

My sister and myself went for a light lunch and to look for some gifts. Had soup and a scone, which was nothing other than average. It was reasonably priced though HOWEVER- Shopping in the showroom is incredibly expensive. £30 for a single mug. I...understand that they're handmade, but still far too pricey! Don't waste your money on average. Instead we went to Tain Pottery (about 10mins drive away) and picked up a few mugs (about £10each) and a tea pot. Far more choice at the pottery also.More

I don't write reviews unless I've been extremely impressed or extremely disappointed. I took my mum and my partner's mum to ANTA at Fearn last week and all three of us agree we will never set foot in an ANTA shop again. The treatment we...received from a member of staff was nothing less than shocking. She was curt, rude and extremely dismissive of us. There is no need to go in to detail about the actual conversation in this review but afterwards in the car (en route to Tain Pottery which was fantastic, by the way) we were all in disbelief that customers could be treated in this way. The products are nice, if not extremely overpriced but certainly not the "wow" factor we were after. I wrote to ANTA to place on record my disappointment and only received a very dismissive reply after a 2nd prompt. Very poor customer service indeed.More

we stopped for a light lunch and a quick look at the factory and its products. The workmanship is impressive, the prices out of my league . . . As for lunch, it all depends what you want: we had a bowl of (lentil) soup...and a cheese scone, both fine (especially the soup). Reasonable prices too. Coffee to follow. There's a range of scones and cakes - so ok for tea - but not much more, as far as I could see; so, fine for tea or a light lunch, but if you're seriously hungry (and fancy a beer), look elsewhere.More

Lovely surroundings in this factory shop. All cakes and scones baked on site. Fantastic coffee too. If you are near Tain it's well worth a visit.
