Good beach bar atmosphere! The food was okay, drinks were small and over priced compared to the other places on the beach. Service was very slow. Choose to go on down the beach the rest of the week we were there.

If you are in San Carlos, you must go to the Peso. You will find a mix of ex pats, locals and tourists, both Mexican and Gringo. It is everything a beach bar should be ... laid back and friendly with a beautiful view and a nice selection of strong drinks. Their ceviche is great and a bit out of... More

They have Marlin Tacos, great drinks, the waiters know you by name, the food is good and the view is almost the best you ever had

Great drinks, excellent service, yummy food and always interesting people. Beautiful beach to people and kite board watching. Toes in the sand and amazing sunsets.

Good for lunch, boats anchor off the beach and dinghy in hence the name. Closed evenings. Try the fish tacos.

Another "okay" place in San Carlos, more a beer bar than a restaurant. A lot of people like it, though. A grass hut feel.

Drinks were not watered down, servers were friendly & many spoke English comfortably. RIGHT on the beach with toes in the sand on an inlet with boats at anchor and the views expanding for miles! Need 20 pesos to get to the beach to park but worth it. Food is offered but I can't eat it so no comments there.

The food was great but the service lacked badly, I think it was due to us being there during a shift change and we were just forgotten about once we had a different waiter. That was the only ding I had. Close to the beach and casual, we were still in our swim wear. maybe we stunk like the ocean... More

Good for on the beach drinks but limited menu. The service has been good both times we've been here.

Not only is this a great beach restaurant with an informal vibe, but the owner, Lisa, is such a supporter of local schools, children and charities. Lots of special occasions like local youth steel pan band "Jump-Up", next one will be Nov. 12th.
