Just ok. Charming atmosphere with ok food. So many others to choose from I was not impressed I guess if you are going to the institute. We wished we had gone somewhere else

I have eaten at this Cafe a number of times but I think they are better for breakfast/coffee than dinners. I've had to send food back because it was too salty or just not good. One of the big problems for the restaurant is its proximity to a bad smelling street drain. If you sit in the front of this... More

We were told by some local gringos that we should try this place out. On our way back from downtown, we stopped here for a 'snack'. The soup of the day sounded good; it was a Mexican soup with some name I cannot remember, but one choice was cornbread. We both ordered this. The place was really crowded, so the... More

My husband always go back to Café Monet. It is a close walk from our home in SMA, and if you want the most delicious quiche with salad (of your choice), you can't beat it. Drink and the above $5.00 US. One of the best HEALTHY deals in SMA.

We stumbled upon this spot and were thrilled to find their breakfast specials. There were several offerings and we settled on a well-prepared cafe latte, chillaquiles in red (or green) sauce with egg and a lovely little baguette with butter and jam accompanying, all for less than $5 US and tasty as can be. The room is charming, full of... More

The three of us had a wonderful breakfast in this restaurant which feels like an old library. Our food was delicious. All three of us had Egg Benedicts and coffee.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday. Bloody Mary's were good, but there was hardly any ice, we had to get more. The bread is cold and hard, my Eggs Benedict was gross, the eggs were snot runny, the ham was rock hard and the sauce wasn't hollandaise, it was like watered down nacho cheese sauce, the hash browns we... Cafe Monet is a lovely art-filled space particularly good for breakfast and popular both with Mexicans and the expat community. If you want chilaquiles on a Sunday morning, arrive early!

Beautifully furnished, with lovely paintings on the walls and a piano player (some nights)...this is a nice cafe from breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had good chilliquies, omelettes, bread with butter & jam, etc. Only problems were the food was not hot when served and the coffee was weak.

We popped during a rainy afternoon. A+ for the mango margaritas. The service was a bit slow and the food was o.k. I would not recommend the food to a friend.
