Mostly a bar with loud music, small plates of good food are also served. Crowded, not much space. Loud music, Great views.

We are expats living in Mexico City for four years and visit San Miguel de Allende as often as possible.....always with visits from overseas and sometimes just for a romantic weekend. Our daughter was visiting from the US, so we headed for SMA and of course La Azotea!! Friendly service, great snacks, try the jicama tacos and the spring rolls.... More

Nice restaurant to eat in great ambiance. Ordered guacamole and tortillas. Great Mexican meal. Great Ambiance and perfect service. Great view from the rooftop. Don't forget to take a sweater or jacket. The evenings will be cold.

Once we found it, we were very happy with the service and food. But finding it was the problem. We saw nothing with the name, but since the address seemed right, we asked the maitre'de at the Pueblo Viejo. It was upstairs! Notice I said stairs, no elevator. Great food, drinks, service and view.

Came to La Azotea for two-for-one wine and jicama tacos (with shrimp) but we also ordered the Brie. Both were delicious, and the wine was ice cold. Service was fine considering the happy hour crowd, all ordering small plates. Spiced nuts are provided with drinks. The only downer was the cigarette smoke from a nearby table, but hey, if you... We had been told about Le Azotea so we stopped there after thoroughly exploring the Jardin area. Great drinks and a nice menu of small plates and full lunch items. Its rooftop, but really not much of a view. The rooftop is really more for a pleasant breeze. Nice menu of drinks and an interesting menu of small plates and... More

The staff was very friendly. The views of sunset lovely & the place is central & easy to locate. Loved the food & drinks too. If you convert to USD not that expensive either

We just stopped in for a drink and taco. The taco was actually quite good but really more as bar food. The chardonnay by the glass was not good at all. I tasted one of the red wines by the glass and opted for a drink instead. The service was excellent and the atmosphere great - except for the smokers.... More

This place has been open for quite a time, the terrace is really nice, with tables for dinning and a nice bar. Food is really good, several entrees and appetizers, very good music also. The place is located just at the main attractions and gets really busy, especially over weekends and is open for late drinks. Service has been friendly... More
