Salty uneatable food horrible. Stuck eating in the lounge because the restaurant busy. Dreadful shoe when paid 310 for a treat

Wonderful evening spent at the Sli Dala with fabulous food and service - Locally sourced ingredients and a talented chef make for a treat for any palette.

The food was served in a timely manner and between courses the Chef sent out a sampler dish to try. The food was excellent and tasty. I would recommend the Mushroom and Garlic foam soup as a starter. Simply dancing on your taste buds.

My wife and I chose Sli Dala at Kinnitty Castle for our first post lockdown meal out together as we had heard and read plenty about it recently and were really excited to check it out for ourselves. The drive up to the castle is...breathtaking in itself. When we entered it was like walking into another era, the beautiful castle has all its authenticity still in tact and we went to the Library bar for a drink as we arrived early (highly advise anyone to arrive a little early and grab themselves a drink in this beautiful old time Library room) The manager came and escorted us to our table and explained the menu to us, I must commend him on his fantastic recommendations on the Fish and Chip style crab starter and also the lamb, both were absolutely DEVINE! My wife had the Scallops and the Turbot which were also both delicious. The presentation of each dish was impeccable and it is clear the culinary team have a great deal of passion for their craft. There were two ladies serving us along with the manager and all three members of staff were extremely courtious and professional in their work. I cannot think of another restaurant in the midlands which offers such a level of service and quality food as Sli Dala. Hats off to the team at Kinnitty Castle.More

The restaurant is housed in a number of separate rooms all atmospheric and befitting the rooms of a castle. Food mixed a thumbs up to the steak however Rack of Lamb completely overdone a major disappointment. If Conor the characterful manager is in situ he...might regale you with his quite mesmerising knowledge of the local folklore !More

The food quality and food presentation was fabulous but the servers were very disorganized and inefficient.

That sums it up. The salmon was exemplary...local lamb is also a favorite. Irish food is so good. The dungeon bar is a fun spot.

Ate in this restaurant on second night and food was amazing, flavours and quality of meats were second to none. Can still taste the succulent Pork Belly Duo. Staff were really attentive and friendly. We ate in the turret area which was really romantic, but...it would have been even better with some background music.More
