It's a family restaurant on the beach. The mother is on the kitchen, the father is the manager, the son and his cousin are waiters. We had a romantic night with candles, wine and the best fresh sawfish in Zipolite. We had fish, salad, rice, guacamole and wine for $19 dollars. The waiter Jose Maria "Chamba" is a very nice... Reasonably priced food in an area that is more touristy & expensive than other villages I have visited. The fish dish I had tasted very fresh was grilled and spiced perfectly.

Sal y Pimiento was a short hike up Zipolite beach from the AirBnB we stayed at. We went four times in six days. Excellent seafood. Friendly staff and clientele. Dining under a palapa roof open to the beach.

This place is perfectly situated to watch sunsets of course. Their breaded fish, shrimp or chicken are prepared perfectly. The shrimp still has the shell so you're gonna be peeling it - if it's covered with sauce it makes a real mess - you'll need to run out to the surf and wash your hands.

You can't leave Zipolete with out eating here.Besides the awesome burger, chicken sandwichs and seafood dishes the place is a experience at night. You can come for sunset or watching the moon and stars light up the ocean .

Great view, very simple table, food and the sea. The food its far away the best in La Playa entire you should ask for Pescado a la plancha and for drink Pepino and lemon Limonada. Great. I had dinner twice.

Really good food with an attentive and polite wait staff. We had a plate of ceviche ordered off menu, a hamburger that rivals any in North America as well as the most thirst quenching cucumber-lime juice that really hit the spot. Will go back for that drink alone! Especially after a long day of frolicking in the sun.

Simple, fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways. Made the mistake of ordering barbecue style which I thought was cooked on a grill. Didn't realize it would be smothered in barbecue sauce. Next time I'll keep it simple.. My mistake!
