Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food was amazing! Atmosphere was also amazing. We visited on a Sunday evening for dinner. A lot of locals (you know the food must be good) and tourists filled the bar and restaurant. Live music started at approximately 6:30pm and was excellent and made our...visit there a true Irish pub experience. Staff were outstanding even with how busy they were.More

Stopped for lunch on a grey, foggy day and were served a lovely home-made seafood chowder with big chunks of fish and shrimp. On top of that: nice service and spotlessly clean facilities. A 5-star experience!

Kevin O'Neills pub in Allihies serves up food of the highest quality that would not be out of place in any of Corks best restaurant.

Popped in here for lunch . They serve the fresh-est most perfectly cooked fish, washed down with the creamiest of pints of Guinness. Definitely worth a visit. Arrive hungry and enjoy a relaxed treat !

Doesn’t do much for Beara & isn’t bothered. Wish I could leave no star. The most unfriendliest, rude & snappy bar man I’ve ever met. Was sorry I even ordered the pint to sit outside. Finished swiftly & went somewhere else for food. Won’t be...back.More

Called in here on a lunchtime while on holiday in Castletown Bere. Ordered fish and chips to keep it simple, the freshest fish I tasted in ages! Service was good and prompt.

Great service from all staff and especially front of house staff Eimear and Natalie who were extremely pleasant and accommodating every night we ate there. The food is amazing with a great selection. We tried different meals each night and couldn’t find a complaint about...any. I would highly recommend and I will definitely being visiting again.More
