I was in this place with my family at the end of August..... The outside bar makes a better impresion than inside. Staff looking at customers as intruders, dirty tables etc. OK-local beer was good. As for the food: I promised myself a good seafood-...More

We stayed at the Sea View small hotel down the street and ate here for dinner one evening. There are not a lot of dinner options in Allihies but this is a decent one and only a 2 minute walk from the Sea View. They...More

We just had delicious soup and vegetables and dessert because we just weren't hungry, but we wish we could have ordered more because everything looked great, and what we did have was top notch. Friendly people - if I return to Allihies, and I hope...More

The food is good. The locals are friendly. It always seems to be lively, with people of all ages enjoying themselves. Try the lamb shanks.

Great place for food and drinks... especially after a day hike in the smishkin mountains. Popular with locals and visitors alike.

Not many dinner choices in Allihies, its a small town. Had a nice meal while sitting at the bar, as it was pretty crowded. The restaurant has 3-4 rooms.

The fish and chips was nice but certainly overpriced for cod. Service was quick but not personable. Outside tables were nice on a sunny day. Inside is comfortable but short on charm.

I've had a lot of Chowder in many different places but this by far was the best! There was large pieces of fish chucks erupting from the amazingly aromatic saucey soup. That was all before I had the pleasure of tasting. Just amazing!! The textures,...More

We ate at O'Neill's on two evenings when we were staying in Allihies; it's the only place to eat in the village, so if you don't have a car (as we didn't), you don't have much choice! The food was pretty good, and there are...More
