I have been a few times and enjoyed dining in a place where mostly locals eat. The specialty breakfast comes on a lazy suzan board and has an assortment of flavoursome bowls. I can't remember their local names ...a chickeny chickpea dish, a spicy egg...dish, an interesting egg dish on sweet saffron flavoured noodles, local beans and lots of flatbread. Also a few side dishes...a sort of cheesy deep fried bread and another delicious falaffel in a tiny pide bread.
The soukh itself is not as exciting as one might hope...npt exactly a shoppers paradise but the trip to saffron makes it worthwhile .More
