A great little restaurant that most tourists would walk right past without a second glance. Do yourself a favour and go in for dinner. Our family of 4 all chose from the set menu on the sign on the street and I think each option was $45 peso's (from memory). The options change day to day. The food and service... More

Our family has been eating at Adriana's COMIDA CASERA for over three years now. It is THE place to eat when we are in Playa del Carmen. Food is served in the "comida corrida" style which is similar to the French "menu du jour". There is always a choice of 3 or 4 main courses served along with soup, tortillas,... More

Every time I go to Playa, my whole family and I are regulars here. A delicious different menu every day. The service is friendly and warm. Children are very welcome. I'm very excited to see Adriana and Roma again this September! My favorite menu item is a plate of delicious rolled tacos and their refreshing Jamica.

We went here several times. We came for breakfast and for "comida". It was always good real home-made food. Adriana and her husband are lovely people. I would definitely recommend this place.

Small but great. This is an out of the way small local establishment. Friendly service, great food. All the food we tried was delicious taditional mexican food. Not like the fast food crap back home. You can't go wrong.

This is my 3rd visit to this quaint little open air restaurant off the beaten path of 5th ave. You have to try the homemade hotcakes, I don't know how they do it but these are by far the best I have ever tried. Everything is fresh and tasty and the owners are so nice and friendly and make sure... More

If like us you want to live like a local! Then venture away from 5th avenue as most of what you will find is overpriced 'tex mex' food!! This restaurant is a diamond in the rough! We where delighted to find this place Providing us with delicious traditional home made dishes. We enjoyed fresh fruit salad with fresh orange juice,... More

We stumbled upon this place while wandering around 10th Avenue, and are so glad that we stopped here for lunch. For the uninitiated, a Comida Corrida restaurant is a place where locals will stop for a quick lunch at a cheap price. They have a limited 'set menu' of various types of chicken, steak, pork, other meats and a veggie... More
