I have been to la Cueva del Chango many times and I had always had a good time. The food is very tasty and the staff polite and available. What I love more is the garden environment, the light and the decoration. I love sharing time with friends in a place like that.

We walked in as a group of 14 at 9pm without a reservation and they were so helpful and accommodating. The restaurant ambiance was really cool and the Margaritas were awesome and everyone enjoyed their dinners very much!!

We eat several meals here every year. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The cream of habenero soup is a must. Our table had tuna tostadas, chicken mole, and goat cheese salad. This was an excellent meal. Their breakfast is wonderful, especially the French toast. Don't miss it.

We were staying close by so decided to give this place a try. Interesting place..watch where you walk or you could end up tripping. Lots of rocks and little pathways. The food and service was just ok. We got a table right away but they moved us twice..then we kept being rushed to place our order, eat and pay our... More

Good food and environment is cool. Nice quiet area sometimes mosquitoes are an issue since it's secluded. Been here several times with groups of people never had an issue.

Beautiful canopy of trees in the garden patio. Friendly service. But the dinner food was very bland. Seems like this place gets very good reviews for breakfast and not dinner...now I know why. My kids got the chicken tacos. Chicken was not seasoned in anything. Just cook up some plain chicken and throw in a tortilla. That's it. I ordered... More

Are here with my three kids and husband on our second night in Playa. This restaurant is completely outside among overhanging trees, lanterns, and small streams. It is fun and neat and dark and great. We had terrific service and started with mezcal while the kids had fresh mixed fruit juices. Dinner was great, fresh, and authentic. The salsas were... More

Great Mexican food! One of the best chilaquiles in town!! We loved everything! The place is really popular and even if the service is quite good you might expect some waiting to get a table

The place is actually pretty good, they offer Mexican food mainly and all the ingredients are similar or equal to the typical Mexican food, the service was good and it offers you excellent value for your money, I strongly recommend to order juice.
