Came here for lunch. Sat in outside courtyard. Had mushroom, ham cheese crepe. Delicious! Duck pate for an appetizer was very tasty. Creme Brule for dessert was delicious.

We didn't expect to find delicious French bistros in Merida! The back courtyard is a delightful place to eat lunch after a morning of museums on Paseo Montego. The baguettes were just the right thing with espresso and a unforgettable desert before going home. The staff and owners are friendly which adds to the comfort of your visit. Worth a... More

Good Food / Good Service / Good Prices. This is one of Merida's finest places to get a 3 course lunch. The portions are a bit small though....

right around the corner from the house we're staying in, is Café Crème. At first glance it looks like a little place with not much going on. Surprise!! there's a beautiful outside area that's comfortable and very pleasant. We had a very good breakfast and we have plans to go tomorrow night for a concert and wine. I know we'll... More

I have only eaten breakfast in this restaurant and it has been very nice both times. It is very popular with the "gringos" so the food tends to 'lean' towards their taste. It is not the kind of place you write home about but very enjoyable. It is in a good location for people staying in Centro. I WOULD return... More

Have enjoyed lunch here several times. Love the iced green tea and the baguette sandwiches with a choice of a large variety of cheeses. The quiche is good, too. Every time we sit in the quiet and cozy patio they brought a floor fan to our table ... so appreciated in the hot weather.

I had the most wonderful raclette and serano ham sandwich for lunch with an agua mineral with ice and lime. The baquette was nice and thin, lovely toasted with the cheese melted plus tomato, lettuce and cucumber. A beautiful lunch with wonderful service by the very handsome owner. What a lovely outdoor space they have and there is also some... More

We only ate breakfast here as we staying round the corner but we kept returning, because the food and service were lovely and it was shady and tranquil. Off street parking available, and internet. A really pleasant genuine family run french cafe.

Thank Ann B

It is owned by a french man who wanted to set a "european" style cafe. He has excellent selection of imported cheese as well as french wine . They make their own quiche and a "Menu of the day" as well as home made deserts. It is a cosy cafe close to the Paseo Montejo and Archeological Museum. It is a good option for vegetarians as well, as they have great salads and many will enjoy a break from the delicious, but heavy, yucatecan cuisine.
