This is a very traditional restaurant in Merida. You can taste delicious sandwiches abd sodas. The place is just on best avenue. If you visit Merida this is a really nice place to visit.

Love the Impala. We go often for cheap eats and a beer or for a late night snack. It is always busy with locals and it is fun to watch the strollers going by.

This outdoor cafeteria is located at one end of the Paseo de Montejo, the premier boulevard in Merida. It's a busy street—not a quiet location to work on your memoirs—but a fun place to share with friends, with a view of horse-drawn carriages going by. The four of us had sandwiches ("tortas"), which were quite good and filling, and a... More

Good, inexpensive food with tables on the sidewalk near the Remate de Montejo. Only open in the evenings and sunday morning thru the evening. I would qualify it as a cafe. It is always busy in the evening with many families.

Very nice streetside cafe offering a nice reasonably priced menu, with a Yucatan flare. Located near a roundabout where horse drawn carriages frequently pass by. Food and service were both excellent. Beautiful, safe and clean neighborhood. Live music was an added plus. Highly recommend!

The Super Club is delicious and huge! I didn't miss the order of fries they forgot to bring me. Waiter was very pleasant. It reminds me of the cafés of my childhood in Miami.

Do yourself a favor and RUN to this restaurant to get a fruit frappacino. Options vary depending on the day and time, but my options, when I was there, were papaya, mango, lime, and watermelon. I had two: papaya and mango. It was a revelation how tasty and refreshing the fruit frappacinos were. We also ordered their ham & cheese... More

Had a great bouillon on the terrace... nobody serves buillon anymore.... my husband's dad used to take the boy there for a soda pop decades ago.... old establishment... I liked the atmosphere... and right on Montejo, Mérida's main drag, plus not far from downtown and some good hotels... all within walking distance...

Brought the family here while on our trip for lunch. Menu was mostly US style diner fare - primarily sandwiches. Very kid friendly stuff, their "platillo volador" (flying saucer) is basically a grilled ham and cheese, my 6 year old daughter loved it. I had a sandwich on crusty bread with ham, cheese, and chipotles that was pretty good.

Hankering for the kind of food you ate at Stateside drive-ins in the late 20th century? Then Impala is your cup of tea. Just OK diner-style chow in a great location for people and car watching. Otherwise we rate it a "meh-plus."
