My husband and I decided to go to Limon and look over the menu. The restaurant is actually located in a house with seating inside and on the patio out back.We did not have reservations, but to my surprise Reynaldo said he could seat us inside if we wanted to eat now ( it was about 7:00 pm) I am... Overall a nice experience but I wouldn't say the food had the wow factor. I did see lots of people eating lobster which did look good but unfortunately it's not our favourite food.

This was our second visit in a week. Both times the food was fabulous, but very noteworthy was the customer service. Last visit I wanted lobster but it was all spoken for. Sergio said he'd save me one for next time. Tonight he apologized that he was just able to get small tails, that he'd checked all of his fishermen.... More

Located a bit far away from the Centro (15-20min golf car) in a classical house, Limon is a small restaurant (10-12 tables) that serves great food very nicely presented. Waiters are attentive, and waiting time reasonable Only complain: rather high level of noise, due to several groups of tourists already advanced in drinking

You can only eat here if you have a reservation so make it ASAP. They are not open on weekends so get after it. Sergio and his staff are awesome and so is the food and the atmosphere.

We had heard nothing but rave reviews about this restaurant, however we were disappointed. The atmosphere was very nice, the smell of your steak sizzling on the grill just feet away was to die for. Then it was served. My husband's Arrachera, although cooked to perfection was sort of thrown on the plate with about a 2" x 2" square... More

After reading Tripadvisor reviews, we rented a golf cart and drove a couple of miles to eat at Limon's. Sergio is an excellent chef and a great story teller. He is entertaining and his food is absolutely amazing! Our meal was wonderful. We ate the mixed grill for 2 and our friends had the tuna and coconut shrimp. We were... More

If someone told me Sergio is a red seal chef I would believe it. This is not a typical high-end Mexican restaurant, this is fine dining. You've heard the steaks are awesome and they are. Completely top notch. I want to add that the appetizers are outstanding, not what you would expect in Mexico. I am already looking forward to... More

Had the tuna. Eight people for dinner and all had great meals. Sergio is a great host and a great chef. He and his family live above the restaurant and greet everyone like a guest in their home.

Last night my husband and I ate at Limon and it was by far the tastiest meal we've had in 7 years of coming to Isla. Sergio was an incredible host and the service from Ronaldo and the other young fella was impeccable. We had dumplings & mussels. I had the charred tuna with saffron rice and my husband had... More
