I decided to have dinner here because of the stunning view and location. I ordered an aperitif to start with guacamole, pico de gallo and tortilla chips before deciding on my main. The chef decided to combine the pico de Gallo (no cilantro) with the guacamole and also to smother it in lime juice. No idea why. They had no... More

Dear Guest: A typical Mexican dish is the guacamole with a lot of Lemon and pico de gallo mixted. so we eat the Mexicans. The place is beautiful and our dishes are excellent. The chef wanted to spoil you with a guacamole that he serves as a Mexican. An apology for not being able to indulge in something as simple... More

Isla Mujeres is very laid back and so is this place but compared to other restaurants we ate it on the island, I would describe this place as quite elegant although you are fine dressing casually. Sophisticated and professional service and food presentation. All four of us were extremely satisfied with our entrees (lobster, two fish dishes and beef). Again,... More

We stopped for lunch and it was such an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Playa Norte. We had calamari and tacos and they were both good. But best of all was the view and the peacefulness. Beach area is small and quiet but not crowded and looked very inviting. Small pool for hotel guests only. Lots of... More

I had the lobster which was huge. They even have a bigger one for 2 people. Couldn't even eat it all. Unbelievably good. The veggies were awesome. My husband had the ribeye and said this was the best meal yet this trip.

We were staying very close by so Maria's was our closest restaurant. We went there for dinner. I was dismayed at first because the menu was mostly seafood (I don't eat any seafood). My husband was very happy with all the seafood options. I went for the chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The only disappointment was that we wanted... More

The restaurant didn't look like much but we where starving so we ordered up some bar snacks. HAnds down some of the best tacos we had in all of mex! Fish & prawn where the fav's and pina colada is a MUST from the bar... it was the size of my head and absolutely delicious.

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. We were the only people in the restaurant. The service was a bit slow (we think they had to open up the kitchen), but the food and the view was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It's a beautiful little hotel too.

Several reviews we read about Casa de los Suenos restaurant (next door) food were not good, and suggested Maria's Kan-Kin for dinner. As I said, I don't get it, I don't get the food reviews for this place. Great views, but the food was so so. I had shrimp tacos and my wife couldn't remember what she had because it... More

We were recommended this restaurant for dinner by our own hotel. We were not disappointed! You walk through pretty gardens to a small area, part open part covered, with the most fabulous views out to sea and over their private beach. We chose to sit at the water's edge as sun set. Just beautiful. We chose calamares to start -... More

Local cafe with great food for locals and tourists. Very pretty tropical setting to enjoy. It's a little difficult to find so I suggest you buy the great maps from Stephanie at the dive-shop near Barlitos. These maps show the exact route with written instructions where you should turn, etc.
