This small restaurant has a great family feeling with perfect genuine Mexican food. We found this place on accident and then proceeded to eat here 3 times in 2 days. On our 3rd visit we brought some friends with a total of 15ish people and they easily accommodated us. They specially cook food for us for that occasion. Best place... More

This is a great family run restaurant just minutes from the city square. The food is very local and what you would eat in someones house. I highly recommend you pay them a visit and get that experience and not one that is just turned on for the tourists. The prices are great and Indio which is the owners name... More

A wonderful little restaurant, the owner Indio, is the epitomy of whar a great host should, be always willing to prepare anything from scratch. if you are there at the right time, you can see the local fishermen bringing their just caught sea food, totally love this wonderful little place.

There were probably 5 or 6 ships in town and the windy conditions encouraged people to go shopping I guess...too many shoppers. We had read about this unpretentious restaurant and we were happy to give it a try. It was far enough away from the crowds to be quiet and to get the local feel for Cozumel. It seems to... More

I was getting too much "Mexican" food that were catering to Americans. I wanted a home cook meal and that was what I got. The food was seasoned right, the portion was big enough so my friend and I only share 1 dish and we left with our tummy full. We were happy that the bill come out to be... More

This family run restaurant serves great meals in a casual atmosphere. I have had many meals at Indios and have always been thrilled with the very tasty and well presented dishes. I usually have eaten there with my brother and family members. We usually stipulate seafood or Mexican or a combination and let Indio decide what to make and we... More

This funky sidewalk cafe offers good mexican food and seafood at very reasonable prices. Even cheaper if you are living here and have a Plan Local card. The seafood platter had a nice variety including lobster prepared to perfection.

We happened upon this place while out walking. They were out of everything except beef when we got there. But we got beef fajitas for under $6 and they were really good. The service was fantastic.
