Had it not been for the staff member outside showing us the menu we never would have discovered this place. It's above the shops up a little stairwell. The food was incredibly fresh, extremely well made and very reasonably priced. Stop in for a little taste of Havana in Cozumel!

We had eaten at this restaurant about 4 years ago while in port in Cozumel. My wife suggested that we eat there again this trip. I said no, let's try someplace new. We literally left 4 other restaurants, due to them being dirty or us not liking the menu, and came back here after 4 unsuccessful tries. My wife was... More

This place has the COLDEST BEER! Their mixed drinks are on the eclectic side-something you would get in a big city. We loved the deck in the evening, a perfect place to watch the sun set! Our server, Daniel was very interactive and just what travelers need when visiting, he had many suggestions on where to go and was even... More

While in Cozumel I finished my Scuba Open Water Certification dives and to celebrate we enjoyed an amazing fresh lobster dinner. It was a little sad to select a fresh lobster from their salt water tank when I had just seen the lobster's cousin while diving. The lobster was grilled and served with black mushroom risotto and grilled vegetables. I... More

We were looking for a special place for lunch while in port from our cruise ship. We found the place! Our server, Daniel, was great and very helpful with our choices. We ordered the Fajitas De Pollo and the Pepito De Ternera. Both were delicious. The Margaritas were amazing! The guys ended the meal with a purchase of Jimmy;s Cuban cigars.... More

I came here for dinner and had a fresh handmade pasta and pesto. The pasta is green in color and was fairly good, maybe a bit heavy, and the pesto was delicious but a little heavy on olive oil. I also had a mojito which was huge- the glasses are like 2 glasses combined- with a lot of fresh mint... More

Want to enjoy a REAL Cuban cigar in Cozumel then visit Jimmy at La Casa del Habano. Other stores on the island sell fake Cuban cigars. Jimmy is from Cuba and the store is jointly run with the Cuban government. His job is to ensure authenticity. He also rolls his own cigars with tobacco from Cuba.

My husband asked me to pick up some Cuban cigars while I was visiting Cozumel. I know nothing about cigars, but Jimmy Sotolongo at La Casa Del Habano explained how each cigar was different and helped me pick several I thought my husband would like. Got home last night, he tried one and absolutely LOVED it! They can be pricey,... More

Our group of four had a great time at this restaurant. The decor is lovely, everything was clean and well taken care of. We had the coconut shrimp and gorditas as appetizers. Then we all had cubans for lunch. The service was impeccable. In particular, Daniel and Karla were great. We'll definitely be visiting when we return to Cozumel.

Jimmy guided us through the latest selections. As expected quality costs money. But just smelling the products including coffee, it is worth it.
