It's nice that the wonderful friendly folks of Cozumel have an affordable and incredibly good taco bar in their neighborhood. There are two economies here in Cozumel depending on your stay, and the best part about El Pique is that they open at 5pm so its off limits to the cruisers...mooo. You can feed 5 people, all big eaters...for 500... More

We always eat here at least once or twice a trip. Authentic tacos at cheap prices. Love the tacos pastor and the bean soup. sit in the garden as it is very hot inside.

This place is steamy and hot, but worth the visit for their awesome tacos. They are known for their pork chops. Try some in tacos or order platos style. Delicious!

A local friend told me this was the "only place to go" for tacos. The pastor was excellent, as were the frijoles. 4 tacos, beans, and 2 beers for less than $10! Can't beat that. I was disappointed that they no longer have "weird" meats on the menu. I was looking forward to trying ojo and I always have lengua... More

We absolutely loved this place; we had 2 takeout dinners! Excellent tacos and very reasonably priced. We had chicken, el pasteur (pork), and chorizo. All were excellent. Make sure to get them with cheese.

A waiter at the hotel we were staying t recommended El Pique to us and it was great! We re in the back courtyard, service was fast, prices were good and the food was great. We had about 15 tacos an an pique de res, it's like a mexican pizza. Awesome! Will visit again for sure!

Local establishment serving mostly locals. Caleta fajitas with 3 beers for under $10. Place is known for their tacos, which are less than a dollar each. Off the beaten track. You have to know the address to find it.

Great food, good service! My only mistake was to take our son there on our first night and then he never wanted to try another restaurant! The back patio is very basic, but the big screen tv plays soccer. Big family tables there.

It's rare to find a taco location that serves so many styles (meats) as El Pique. They do them all very well. From El Pastor, to asada or even suadero, El Pique really does a great job. I have eaten tacos all over Mexico for 20 years and I would put this down as the top option in Cozumel. Cozumel... More
