This place was recommended by a mexican friend . I had dinner there tonight and it was a real surprise. The food is excellent (I have been in Mexico for 10 days now and their tacos were absolutely the best) and the staff is very friendly. The place, from what I saw, is not touristy at all so you can... We were recommended this little eatery by a frequent American visitor to Cozumel while we were on a scuba dive boat. Located at 30th & 2nd, this is a literal hole in the wall that has the best tacos EVER! The guacamole, salsa and chips were excellent. The food & drink is very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and... More

We stumbled upon this place late at night whilst meandering back to our hotel, and it was the best place we ate at on Cozumel. Cheap, hearty and delicious menu options combine with a vibrant and traditional atmosphere and friendly waiters to make for a very fun experience that you'll want to repeat.

Stayed at the Occidental Grand and came into town for some real tacos. Read many reviews and decided on El Pique.....and very glad we did. Might have been the best tacos I've ever had.....and I've had a few. I had 4....my son had 5....and my wife had 3. One Sprite, one sangria and 2 Tecate's. The bill was about $25.00US.... More

This place is a little bit of a walk from the shore but the walk is worth it. A lot of fun murals to see and take pictures in front of the place is cheap and will save you a lot of money getting off of the main drag. You can't go wrong with anything they have they don't have... More

A bartender at our hotel recommended this off the tourist track taqueria in a local working neighborhood. Clearly, some of the best, authentic tacos you will find. Chuletas (pork chop), pastor and skirt steak were mouth watering and the frijoles charros especial was fantastic. Yes, waiters do not speak much English, but put your boots on. It is Mexico after... This is the place to go for tacos pastor and frijoles especial! The waiters dont speak much English so it is good to take someone who can habla a little espanol. But if you want some great tacos and beans, and dont wanna break the bank, this little taqueria is the place to go. :)

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The tacos pastor were amazingly delicious. The bistec tacos yummy. Others in the group had the fajitas and said they were excellent. The queso was perfect. Very good place for a casual meal.

Simple local, plasic tables and chairs. Food is basic, tasty, inexpensive. If you want to eat local, eat fresh, eat cheap, eat here! Outdoor courtyard is fun. 10 minute walk from the ferry.

About 10 of us went last night and had some of the best street tacos I've ever had. The Chorizo tacos were so tasty and the Frijoles Especial were outstanding. Not fancy, come as you are. Can't beat the prices.
