The folks at La Mission appear to have given up and gone the way of more and more restaurants and souvenir shops on the island. That is catering to the curse ship people. Their attitude is, " we will never see you again, so what if the food isn't good". We have been going to this restaurant for years. We... More

Had the lobster and filet mignon. Watch out for the salsa very hot. The lime soup is delicious, and would definitely go back.

We had a very good experience at La Mission, located Downtown in Cozumel, MX. Dined on a Thursday evening. We brought fish that we had caught earlier in the day and had it prepared by them for 3 of the 5 people in our group. The other 2 ordered rom the menu and had a fantastic meal of lobster. Prices... The menu said if you don't like it you don't pay for it, after almost 40 minutes we finally got our meals. I ordered the Mexican Combination my wife had the garlic shrimp. The tamale in my combination was the worst I think I ever had. The frozen ones I get at Costco are much better! I sent it back... More

We love the food here, but I will seriously question going back after having to spend another evening listening the loud xylophone. And it's very very warm - the breeze doesn't come through the restaurant. Surf and turf is awesome and although the sexy coffee is expensive - it's a fun treat!

A hidden gem in Cozumel. An amazing location to kick back and enjoy lunch or dinner. The sweet smells from the open kitchen pour out into the dining room. All the food is delectable and savory. From the chips and homemade guacamole to lime soup to very large portions of platters everything will keep you wanting more. I recommend splitting... More

I had the coconut shrimp, served in half a coconut with delicious dipping sauce, spouse had some excellent fish. The staff are super friendly and service was quick. The atmosphere is bustling and fun, obviously a popular restaurant. It... More

This place was recommended by our hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was early, so it wasn't busy. Our food was served in courses and was a nice semi fancy meal for us. The food was cooked to order and tasted very good. One of us had the grilled fish and the other had chicken burritos, so we... More
