Great service! Were very accommodating to us who have very minimal Spanish skills. Would recommend to others

On our last night in Mexico we found this lovely looking restaurant….but inside the experience was not so inviting. The front of house waiter made us feel unwelcome from the minute we seated ourself. We initially ordered 3 beers whilst we browsed the menu and...he gave us a look of disgust and rolled his eyes…as if to say you can’t come here to drink beer!! Not one smile or a thank you, just a sense of being looked down on. We had intended on ordering food but after the appalling service atmosphere we received we decided against it. When we said no food he appeared disgruntled and cleared our table abruptly. The bill was delivered coldly with just an emphasis on his 20% tip. We paid and left. A disappointing end to a lovely two weeks in Mexico.More

If you’re looking for amazing seafood in Cancun, I highly recommend this place. The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. Located on a trendy street with a modern atmosphere, this restaurant is well worth stopping in for a nice dinner. If you love...oysters like I do, this is the place you’ve been looking for. **Visited with family (children aged 14 and 17) Also posted on Yelp, duplicate review.** Upon arrival, one table seated in the whole restaurant (red flag #1) Nice greeting from our server, noted immediately that service would be plentiful (waiting to take your plate as soon...as it was finished), which is reflected in the pricing on the menu. On this visit to Cancun we ate at smaller, more (what I would call) authentic Mexican establishments, as this blurs the line imho. Pros ----- Fish of the day was a success. The agave to finish the meal (served with any tacos you order) was pleasant. Cons ------ Pricing is very strange on the menu, it fluctuates very widely. While I understand something like catch of the day will contrast to other selections, there is just too much going on with the menu to make a lot of sense as to what their specialty is. Cocktails, while described in detail on the menu, didn't meet the mark with taste. Stick to the basics in this department. The music (from KISS to EDM to a radio station) absolutely killed any "vibe" of dinner, between yelling at our table and having our server yell at the fellow controlling the audio, it was borderline comical trying to get that sorted. We were charged $298MXN for 2 virgin piña coladas and told the price is the same with, or without alcohol..... that was disappointing to say the least. ------------ Overall, while I can appreciate the touches this restaurant tries to add to their menu (it was actually the only restaurant we have eaten at in 6 days to not present a physical menu, due to COVID I presume), table service, vibe, etc I am certain we would have been much better off eating next door at Las Tostadillas for a number of reasons.More

I came here for an early tea and was pretty much the only person there but the staff were so helpful and friendly. I had two types of tacos and they were actually absolutely delicious. Absolutely could be charging double! A great price and a...great mealMore

Best grilled shrimp I have ever had in any restaurant. Incredibly good service from Sevency. Beautiful atmosphere. Husband had grilled octopus that was extraordinarily tender.
