Popped in a couple of times. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere open traditional canteen. The food was fine if a little stodgy. Reasonable value for money and felt stafe and secure.

My dad used to take us to this restaurant for Sunday lunch when I was a little kid back in the 70s. It is a little nicer than what I remember, but still quite casual. If you like "carnitas" (fried pork) and tequila this is the right place, although they have an extensive mexican menu (tortilla soup, moronga or "black... More

Had lunch. Two carne tacos and large bowl of classic chicken soup. Both were excellent. Popular place and english menus and friendly staff. Highly recommend Very close to Chap Park and Reforma. Great lemonade also. Cost $160 pesos.

Other reviewers praise the simpler meals here and maybe they are right but being a bit hungry we ordered the Carnitas (a kind of roast pork) and the beef with nopales. The pork was dry and the beef was a little spongy. Neither had a lot of flavour and the side salsas did little to compensate. Having spent a couple... More

We went there thanks to trip advisor. The mango margarita is amazing and we had a good experience. It is better to follow recommendations than trying random places. Thanks Trip advisor community

Probably some of the best tacos I've had in my life. Three of us ate with drinks for $20 USD. Staff were great and very attentive.

Best mole sauce I have ever had. Great Mexican food. Colleagues also loved it. Chicarron tacos were awesome.

This restaurant is definitely a must if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant where you can try the traditional carnitas (pork meat), campechanos (mixed pork meat) and the one I like the best: masiza (you have to ask for at least one masiza taco). Quesadillas, enchiladas, soups (caldo tlalpeño which is spicy chicken soup) chicharron en salsa verde, among... More

Incredible experience, particularly if you eat standing up by where the tacos are being made and you have access to freshly made tortillas, mouth watering meat and a skillful "taquero" who knows that he will be the one receiving your tip.

We go to Los Panchos very often. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Waiters and hostess are very efficient and kind. Caldo tarasco ( soup) is delicious. Also I recommend carnitas ( house speciality).
