Quality has decreased in the past year. The sushi is average as you can find in other places but the cost remained. The chef is still there, and he's good; so the ingredients are the ones which could be the reason of this situation.

I have to recognize it isn't the cheapest but it is worth to every single $ you pay. You could even have the chef to recommend specials not necessarily within the menu. Don't miss the sashimi and do not hesitate to ask questions, as many as you need to feel that's what you would like to try. There is always... More

Awesome place. You really feel yourself in Japan. As usual, the service is awesome, as is normal in Mexico City (coff, coff... Hungary should learn a little bit of this). The menu is quite long, but all what we tried was awesome. The sashimi is great, the rice is cooked so well. The prices are not as expensive as they... More

An evening meal with a friend who suggested this very attractive restaurant in Col. La Valle. The menu was extremely rich in options, and not only the usual sashimi and sushi, but much, much more - ramen, tempura, udon (soups), just to name a few. There were meat, chicken, fish and vegetable dishes. Portions are mostly large. We shared a... More

We used to eat here for the last ten years, we liked it very much, it used to be the second best japanese restaurant in Mexico City, but they change the menu, the old one had photographs and a brief explanation of the dish, the new one did not, so if you are not familiar with japanese food you do... We loved this place. Udon is delicious and authentic. It's a little piece of Japan in a beautiful neighbourhood in Mexico City. You feel comfortable.

This restaurant is in the middle of one of Mexico biggest neighborhoods. A very traditional place with excellent fish and real traditional Japanese dishes. You won't find any sushi with cream cheese or peppers, just extraordinary Moriwase (sashimi), sake, noodles and all the great food. A big Japanese crowd always helps to know this is the real thing!

After having visited this place for at least the past 10 years, I found today that food and service aren't even close to what it used to be. Waiters are not familiar with menu, food is not as "Japanese" as it is said and they brought starters after the main dishes and took ours to bring our drinks. Hope they... More
