Went for the seafood and were not impressed. The roe was overcooked and the mussels were too salty. The fish soup was ok. Should have realized it was not excellent when we opened the door and saw very few clients! The service was excellent and we wondered how they could pay the wages as there were more staff than clients.

The place opened in 1936 and perhaps the renovation and decoration budget get expended on that date... the place offers delicious dishes, a reason to be always crowded. If you are in downtown and look a place to eat, this is a good option.

Quite clearly this used to be a very popular restaurant, at least that is what the signed handkerchiefs on the walls suggest, but those days are gone. Now a plentiful staff overlooks a small amount of dinner guests and keeps up appearances. Taken from the state of the kitchen this restaurant deserves a good makeover by chef Ramsey if you... More

Established old school fish restaurant that offers great food and wine, and staff that take great pride in their work.It closes 20-21 hrs,so mainly a lunch spot.It is a busy room, but a haven compared to the bustling street on which it sits.Well worth seeking out.

This place is a "must" if you go downtown and you want to eat a delicious plate of langostino´s, chocolata clams and big shrimps (seafood in general)!! We arrived and we had to wait for 40 minutes, but the waiting was worth it, the clams were gone when we had the table but the langostinos were awesome! My husband ate... More

The food here is good, nothing to sing about. The atmosphere is a little sad and tired although my husband was excited to see Pele's autograph. I don't think I would list it as a must visit.

This place keeps surprising me, and exceeding my expectations, always innovating, with the same quality of flavor and freshness, but still keeping those traditional Danubio dishes we all enjoy, and if you haven't been there I highly recommend this place, even if you're not crazy about seafood, as they have flavours for all tastes.

I been here so many times, each one a delightful experience, they are a spanish base restaurant, but also they have some other stuff, but you must ask for the "langostinos" (prawn, king shrimp) any way they prepare it will be ok, if is your first time you should ask for the "menu" that includes six course meal, this way...
