One of the best restaurants in Mexico City (seafood or otherwise). In addition to the delicious, well presented dishes, the service was second to none. The waiters recommendations were so spot on. I told my wife that by the end of dinner I’d jump off...More

Got lucky and scored a table during busy lunch hours. The waiting staff was extremely attentive and the food was a delight. We heard a lot of buzz around it before and it definitely didn't disappoint. If I had to chose one dish for the...More

We had a great lunch at this restaurant. Remember lunch in Mexico City starts at about 2pm and drags until 4pm or so. We had to wait a few minutes before getting our table so I strongly encourage calling ahead and making a reservation. Go...More

We went to Contramar for Lunch. The place was very busy and full of people. The majority of them were young and American. The food was delicious but this was not the type of restaurant one could relax over a nice meal and a glass...More

This place is a delicious and energetic spot for some of the best seafood I’ve ever tasted. Try the al pastor, the whole fish Contramar, though I thought the green herb sauce was better than the red. Some heavenly fig tart and just about any...More

I had dinner here two weeks ago, on my 1st night in Mexico City. I made a reservation, which seemed necessary as the restaurant was close to full when I got there, and the only empty tables had “reserved” signs on them. The crowd is...More

I turned up on a Sunday afternoon soon after opening without a reservation and was seated at a sidewalk table. Quite fortunate as 45 minutes later, the restaurant as almost full. Great atmosphere in a nice neighbourhood. The food was fantastic, living up to its...More

The food was delicious, the octopus, THE TORTILLAS were amazing and the service was so beyond anything you're used to in the US. Delicious! If I lived in Mexico I'd be there often.

One of my favourites in México City. Relaxed family and friends restaurant. Try the tostadas. They have several options w/ shrimp or tuna, combine it with a good tequila and beer or a mezcal. And for main course the “pescado sarandeado” is a speciality of...More

I would recommend that. It was packed with a long wait when I was there but also the best people watching in all of Mexico City.

Aside from a basic salad, the menu is pretty much entirely seafood. I would go elsewhere for vegetarian options.
