The staff was nice. Food read good and reasonable prices. The wines are expensive. The background music is nice and mellow and at a level you can have a pleasant conversation.

I really enjoyed sitting on the patio at Saks, drinking wine and eating very delicious food. It's elegant and old school. I had the stuffed pepper and it was good (loved the sauce). Appetizers were my favorite part of the meal. They lose a point for service. The wait staff was very aggressive about "upselling." Also, we ordered water, and... More

A hostess met us outside as we were looking at the menu and told us what we could expect. Her English was very good, which made a difference for. Glad to get English menus! I wanted something traditionally Mexican, while my buddy wanted a steak. He had the ribeye and I had lamb, cooked in some type of leaf. Both... More

Breakfasts are good here, the breads are fresh and delicious especially the corn bread, a pleasant ambiance and nice decor as well, though the service is not always attentive or timely. Good choice!

The entire experience and meal was unbelievable. We had the tuna, which was fresh and delicious. The appetizer with cheese was outstanding. The service was A+. This is a must stop in Mexico City.

We were recommended this restaurant by colleagues from our local office, but were unsure what to expect. We were totally delighted by the experience, quality and price. The greeting was warm and pre dinner drinks were served with a selection of Kir, Mescal, Tequilla and cocktails. All were fantastic. A bread selection with various spreads were absolutely delicious. I would... More

I've been coming to Saks Insurgentes for a while (family lives nearby) and I'm always delighted by the food and excellent service. It is a bit pricy but it is worth it. The Enchiladas de Mole are exquisite as well as the pasta's.

The Ensalada Saks is excellent...the linguine fra diavolo is consistently good. All of the Mexican dishes are executed quite well. The selection of wines is excellent, and the desserts are wonderful.

The food and service were better some years ago. We went to try the "chiles en nogada" a special dish for the patriotic september month. That were just good but no delicious. The Red Snapper was not very fresh. Wine is a little bit pricey. There is a service charge per person but the bread and humus is very good.
