We left the park and needed a place for lunch. Thanks to Yelp we arrived here and had a great flavorful lunch sitting outside. The menu is all Spanish so read the reviews my husband had the goat soup which was perfect. I had the aqua chili which they offered to mix with both tuna and shrimp since I couldn't... More

Aguachile was a little different than what I am used to eating in QROO but it was very good. I also had the torta ahogada which this place is know for. As I was eating I saw other patrons using plastic gloves, I wish I would have known they were available. Stopped during lunch time and was in and out... More

Tortas Ahogadas are a typical dish from Guadalajara, Jalisco, and its basically bread with pork inside smother in sauce. This place in Mexico City honors the places you can find in Guadalajara quite well. The only problem right now is they are fixing the streets in front of it so its a bit of a mess.

Great service, food is ok and very fast served. Big range of different deserts and really good ones. It s good for big groups or only for two. Can be crouded - but that is a good sign for a good restorant :)

This place is famous for its "tortas ahogadas" (typical from Jalisco), which means a French-type bread (birote) sandwich filled with pork filet and dipped into a delicious sauce made with chile de arbol, tomato, onion, pepper, etc. It will be served with plastic gloves, so you can hold it without risk of staining your hands and clothes. At El Pialadero... More

This beautiful restaurant is very easy to reach through Condesa or using the underground (Chapultepec or Sevilla). Mostly appreciated by original "Chilangos", this place serves one of the best dishes of the Guadalajara's tradition. I'll definitely recommend "Tacos de barbacoa roja de Guadalajara", (typical Guadalajara style lamb tacos) and if you like real Mexican spicy food then you cannot miss... More

It is a great place to visit if you want to experience eating torta ahogada with gloves. GREAT value as a small torta ahogada fills you up. The corn soup is also very good.

We still waited for a table, even though it was in that awkward time between lunch and dinner. However, definitely worth the wait. Could not read the menu, even with WordLens, so we ordered via pictures from FourSquare [the local alternative to Yelp]. Had a raw shrimp salad to start [10/10] - fresh raw shellfish is almost always sweet. Then... More

Although this torta style comes from Guadalajara, Jalisco I think this little place has the best ones in town. Even they provide you a plastic glove in order to eat it like the manual says. They also serve other typical dishes from Guadalajara.
