This restaurant has a menu of Spanish tapas with a Mexican touch. The flavors are surprising and amazing!!! I`ve tried several dishes and all of them were great! We`ve also tried some Mexican drinks, and liked them. It`s a great restaurant to go with a group of friends and order several dishes to share. The staff was very friendly, but... More

I celebrated one of my birthday lunches here (I´m very popular..haha). We were a group of 5 adults and one child. First and very important for groups with kids: They have a small "play" area with toys for little kids and a Wii video game for not so little kids. I know is not cool to have your kid be... More

A very nice choice in Colonia Condesa. Try asparagus appetizer and the mango-zapote dessert.. I am definitively going back.

A firm favourite with my husband and I, as fairly new residents in Mexico City. Bonito has menus both in Spanish or English which is great for those who are learning the language like us. The tapas style entrées are delicious - rib eye tacos, aqua verde shrimp and sopacitos are great to share (although they're so good you many... More

Just recently in Mex D.F. went to CONDESA neighborhood which is now the trendy section of the city with popular restaurants. Sunday afternoon and we decided to walk into the Bonito... made the right choice. They close early on Sunday but nevertheless they quickly accomodated us. Lovely setting, staff was great and the food just plain good. Not sure why... More

I had been to Bonito in the evening and everything was wonderful. Today I returned with my family and another family (total kids two boys 5 and 8 and two girls 5 and 7). This is one of the best places we have eaten with kids. First of all the kids are given a gift bag including a small puzzle,... More

I have been to Bonito more than four times, each time it has been a solid experience. What I like about Bonito? It has all that I want for a restaurant in the Condesa area: -Good food, not really expensive (around $35 USD per person with a drink) -Diverse, they have a standard menu that I already know top to... i had dinner at Bonito, and it was very good - the fish with risotto was above medium. The internal patio was very pleasant for a conversation. There are, by the way, plenty of restaurants on street where it is located.

On a business trip with a gringo group, Bonito served as a nice spot for a final dinner. It was relaxed enough to not feel stuffy and the mixed drinks (lychee martini & mezcaltini) were delicious. Overall pluses: generally good staff, drinks, ambience/decor, location Areas to improve: food was good but not amazing, there was a second floor window from... More

It just happened that when we were having a late lunch, a massive storm came in and inundated the main dining area. We were upstairs and could see diners below getting soaked with streams of water pouring from the ceiling and side wall. All moved and who knows were they went. The front sidewalk entrance was flooded and they had... More
