This classic restaurant has a great menu with dishes from all over the country. The quality of the food is top-notch yet unpretentious. El Cardenal is located in a property which used to be a house. When you dine there you will feel at home, plus it is great value for money

They have lovely fresh fruit wáter, like guanábana wáter, lemon and chia, and others depending on the season. Everything in the menu is very good. We´ve had tacos, fish, lamb, chicken, it´s all cooked with a mexican touch.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
