Food was ok. Caesar salad was drowning in dressing - maybe ask for it on the side. I should have returned it but I ate it. There was probably enough dressing for four salads instead of the one that I was eating. Ordered pasta with bolognese. Pasta was good but bolognese a bit different from what I am used to.... More

This place doesn't look like much on tje outside... or inside, but the food here is really good at decent price. We had pasta and the pesto is savory but not to strong and the table next to us told us meat is also really good here.

Amazing Italian food in the heart of Mexico City. The service and atmosphere were also very good! Of course, you MUST try the lasagna!

Stayed at the Four Seasons in Mexico City. Lovely little authentic friendly restaurant a stones throw away. Very helpful and worth a visit or two.

It's an old place with good music (operas and arias) but the food, you forget that the hard bread cost 1 usd per person, because the taste of the food is delicious! The artichoke is superb! !! The ravioli is spectacular! Everything is home made like. I will be a frequent client here!

Recommend by friends in Mexico City. Very charming interior and extremely delicious.... Joined friends for dinner, started with risotto w/ mushrooms and mushrooms in vinaigrette. WOW, a great beginning. For dinner had a gorgeous Osso Buco in a tomato sauce with house salad. The best Osso I've had in a long time. Very very tender... For dessert had strudel w/... More

The warmest welcome from the handsome PierGiorgio and the greatest Italian food in Mexico from his brother Mario, the chef of cuisine. You cannot go wrong, from the appetizers all the way to the desserts,... More

We were staying at the Marquis Reforma Hotel in Mexico City and asked the concierge for a lunch venue and he recommended La Lanterna. It is a 50 year old family run northern Italy cuisine with a wonderful cozy atmosphere. It must be very popular because from 1:00 pm onwards on Saturday people kept arriving. The food was good and... This place has amazing Italian cuisine. Everything is homemade. Atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. The staff is excellent. Same family has had it for 50 years. Very good food. Loved it. Will definitely return.
