This a very good option to show folklore to the foreigners, they have tradicional dance and music, it is very loud though, you’re not able to have a conversation. Mexicans love this place for the food and the music and we don’t care about how...More

We had not been here in many years, and when visiting friends suggested it (because they'd researched it or heard about it or something) we accepted their invitation. The initial reception was cold and "snooty" but that's certainly not rare in Mexico. We ordered a...More

Shocking how badly trained this team is. Couldn’t manage reservations plus walk-ins and had people waiting desperate and hungry for over an hr. Staff incompetent and poorly trained to solve. You can have good Mexican without having to suffer!!

I think this restaurant has a lot to offer, the main dish is "barbacoa" the taste is good but not greater than the others you can find on the streets of Mexico City, though this places offers like an experience of the "culture" they have...More

This place is fabulous! The barbacoa is delicious, there are mariachis whose music and dancing provide a lively atmosphere, and there is even a large indoor playground to entertain the kids.

Highly recommended for those looking for a traditional and authentic Mexican restaurant. Try the specialty barbacoa that is slow cooked in a traditional pre hispanic way! Also try the carnitas that are superbly cooked! Our server Miguel Marin did a great job. The live traditional...More

Time seems to have frozen in several areas that still
remain true to what Tlalpan once was, but the clock is
still ticking in the relaxed environment that makes it
the perfect neighborhood for friends, couples and
families who love to explore at their own pace. Plaza
de la Constitución is where everyone gathers on
weekends to listen to live music and where some of the
best coffee shops, restaurants and bookstores satisfy
