A local colleague (was in town on business) invited us to a "real" Mexican joint, LCDT. It definitely was real. Packed 18 hours a day with lines out the door (quick moving though), and room for you and 300 of your best friends, the place is high energy, casual, fun to experience, and the food is very good overall, with... Popped into the restaurant for a quick lunch. The food was decent and cheap. Had pozole soup and quesadillas - both of which were good. Along with a beer, it made for a good lunch as long as you are not looking for a place with atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient- don't speak English but when I made the... More

This place is fantastic. When we first got there, people were lined up on the sidewalk. We were told the, wait would be 15 minutes but we did not believe it take such a short time with the huge number of people waiting. We were wrong. We got in and were really impressed by the service and food. They are quick, efficient and... More

Is a popular restaurant chain so you can find several locations around Mexico City (more than 20), check online. It is an authentic mexican restaurant very popular among mexicans so there might be a wait depending on the time and day, so plan accordingly. The food is delicious, everything from pozole, quesadillas, sopes. If you are looking for a real... More

Very typical, cheap Mexican eatery, bistroy style food. Simple and very greasy. Not recommended for people who don't tolerate fat or are vegetarians.

So I always tend to read TA and see what's in the area for cheap eats and what not. So I can't say I was overly thrilled about this place as I have definitely had better. Finding this place wasn't hard at all, and inside was a packed house (good sign). I ordered the carne flautas, the service was pretty... More

I frequent this place for lunch, because, lucky for me, it's located rather close to my office. I've had the flautas, pozole, quesadillas, and today I tried the sope for the first time and it's my new favorite. I usually pair this with some nice horchata. I do wish they had agua de jamaica, but I guess you can't have... More

ok so everytime I come to Mexico City, I must come to eat here. there is a bit of a wait time depending on the time you go. BUT it is worth it. The pozole, the chicharron with avocado, and a Modelo Especial are THE best combinations. Oh and you cant forget about that "Abuelita Flan", that is to die... More
