I go to 99.99 every now and then and I love it. I like it better than traditional restaurants in Mérida. I usually eat international food there, cause I've got Fonda 99.99 in Mexico City.

Excellent food and quick service. Loud and brash, with sparse decorations, this place was made for the foodie in you. You have to try the Tacos con Pulpo (octopus tacos). They are the best I have ever had.

Great food. I even like it better than some yucatecan restaurants in Yucatán. I will however not go again until my kids are 3 years old or older, or the restaurant sets up a baby changing station. Come on, people, this is 2015. Even clubs will have that soon.

This is a great restaurant, very savory dishes from the Yucatan Peninsula. You need to try the "Lima" Soup and the "Cochinita Panuchos". This place is just to go eat and leave, not for long meals. You will be let in until the complete party is present, be aware. A place you don't want to miss!

This looks like a simple restaurant, just like a classic "fonda", but the food is elaborated and flavours are amazing. The classic lima soup is a must when you to this place, same for the refreshing Horchata Water. All tacos are delicious, no matter if they are made with pork, beef, fish or chiken...everything tastes like heaven. Cochinita pibil and... More

The portions are small, so you can taste many of the dishes. The service is very fast. Usually it is very crowded. The cochinita pibil, is deliciuos also the Lima soup. If you are not used to hot food, be careful with the habanero sause. Leave space for dessert.

This is definitively one of my top choices for restaurants in Mexico City. I have eaten here over 20 times and will continue to visit. I never tire of recommending this place. The price-quality equation has no equal. This is not a place to linger around.. they want you to move out as soon as possible, since the prices are... More

This place is a must if you are around del Valle. The food is extremely good, especially the octopus tacos and the lima soup. The prices are reasonable Be prepared to pay in cash

One of the best places to eat the real mexican food. Not inside the tourists circuits, but worth the trip to La Fonda 99. Just a few block from Metro Hospital 20 de Noviembre, in the middle of La del Valle Neighborhood, this restaurant offers the best Yucatan dishes outside Yucatan. Cochinita, lechón, papadzules, sopa de lima, this restaurant has... More

Considered one of the best Yucatecan restaurants in Mexico City I went with some workmates this past spring. It did not disappoint ... all of the food was incredible ... great portions, flavors and fast/quick service. Even more surprising even given its renown the place has kept the prices very reasonable.
