Went with a friend for dinner last night. The experience was nice at first - good spot in the restaurant, quick drink service, friendly waiter. It continued to be a nice experience when the drinks arrived quickly, though it did start to go downhill for my friend, as she didn't get the drink she ordered (got lemonade vs. mineral water).... Very friendly welcome from more than one member of staff. One waiter picked up that I spoke no Spanish and spoke to me in English. Very helpful and keen to get me seated and order taken. The food was excellent, a nice salad presented in a very nice way, followed by Penne with smoked chicken in a creamy Pesto sauce.... More

Very well located. Polanco is a must-visit district in Mexico City and this Italian restaurant is a good option after visiting Museums in the bosque de Chaultepec. Nice staff and food.

What can I say about Santino? I think I did something that's considered weird in Mexican society. I was living in Polanco, and there are so few options that are walking distance in the evening. No street food really. I wanted to eat while reading my book and decided to treat myself to a somewhat fancy dinner. I ordered pasta... More

Went there with the family two weeks ago. Ordered a prosciutto pizza, didn't finish it and asked for a doggie bag. (Pizza was good, no complaints there.) We didn't check the bag until we got home and we realized that they had stolen the prosciutto from the leftover pizza! You could clearly see how they yanked it; the shape of... More

We stopped here for a pizza lunch and were not disappointed, though not overwhelmed. It seemed that every family with small children living in the neighborhood chose to eat here in the late afternoon. Wine by the glass was good, though not extra-generous on the pour, and the pizza was good enough. Not fantastic, not terrible.

Very good tasty and fresh pizza. My favourite is the Capriciosa. The Spaghetti a la Putanesca is not on the menu but available, when you ask. That is always a proxy for quality.

Nice setting and friendly staff but the food is less than average. Pizza is oily and pasta dry. Music very loud.

I have eaten here a few time. It has inviting outdoor seating and a great location in Polanco. My favorite of their menu is their pasta dishes. The also have a very good fried calamari. Pizzas are thin fresh crust with a decent sauce, but could use a bit more toppings. I agree with other reviews that have complained about... More

Enjoyed fresh gnocchi on sidewalk cafe restaurant! Our son ordered a thin crush pizza. We shared calamari, and smoked salmon. All was delicious! Service was excellent on this safe, quiet street. It is a lovely neighborhood to discover. Waiters could speak English.
