The restaurant is nice and placed in an unbeatable setting, with a great view to the Zócalo. The food was good and reasonably priced. The one issue they really need to improve is their waiting list system. If the receptionist tells you that you have to wait one hour to be seated, she requires you to be present there the... More

We stayed at the hotel so breakfasts were "free" -- that's all we ate so all I can speak to. The dish that we got the first day was quite good; it was a fried egg on mole on tortillas; well presented. The second day I ordered an omelette which was inedible (rubbery). We didn't take advantage of the free... More

During both of my group study abroad trips to Mexico City, we spent our penultimate evening at this HEAVENLY rooftop restaurant overlooking El Zocalo. Both times, the dining experience was more than a person could ever want in their lifetime, and is one that kept making me think "I don't deserve this. This is too much." The first time here,... Well the view is lovely if you get a seat near the windows. Sunday only an expensive brunch but nicely done food, some buffet for first course and then order main and dessert. As solo diner I felt very invisible by staff and the slowness of the service was frustrating. Very busy with guests who can fork over mucho denero... More

I thought that Mexico was going to be an awful place to be, but no. The ambient there is amazing and the way they treat you is just incomparable.

We had a drink one late afternoon and dinner one evening at El Balcon. The view over the Zocalo is excellent but the food is mediocre. We had friendly service for drinks, and indifferent service for dinner. The staff prepares table side--it's fresh but bland. go for a drink once to see the view.

One of the best views of Zocala Square. I went here a few years back and couldn't wait to return. The quac is made at your table. Very nice place to eat and relax.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to eat here one night. We didn't make a reservation so had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. We had a table overlooking the square but unfortunately it was raining so the awning was down which still had a window to see outside. The food... More

Gorgeous view of the zocalo and the cathedral. Brunch food was good. Make sure you ask for prices before ordering cocktails. Ordered a mimosa and was surprised at the end by a $15 each price. Ouch!
